Seeing a new stylist is always a little nerve-racking. My number one priority is listening so that you can feel comfortable and confident. I LOVE PHOTOS! Photos of your face shape, your hair when you LOVE it, your dream hair. Photos are really helpful right now when I can't see your full face.


Looking forward to some kind of normal in this not-normal time! Email me with any questions- email is ALWAYS the best way to contact me (except to tell me you are here waiting).



A few days before your appointment, you'll receive a text reminder with an option to confirm or reschedule. Please let me know 24 hours in advance if you need to change or cancel your appointment. For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, there is a fee of 50% of the service.

My address is 6609 Flora St Oakland, CA - equidistant between Mills and the Coliseum. My salon is in the flipped garage next to my house. There is always plenty of street parking on my block - often you can even park right in front of the driveway.


Please either check in on my Vagaro booking system OR text me WITH YOUR NAME when you arrive (415) 513-7260 and wait in your car, I'll let you know when to come in.

I accept credit cards, cash, PayPal or Venmo - tips can be the same way you pay (thank you).

Even if you have already filled it out, PLEASE fill out this guest form online before you come in.

You will come in through the BIG car garage door and wash your hands. I am taking 10 minutes between each guest to wipe EVERYTHING down with medical grade wipes. If it is "nor-cal freezing" cold I may shut the big door for your appointment- we will still be in front of an open door and 4'x6' window totally open. We are essentially outside. I have a space heater but please dress for the weather (please no bulky hoods).

Before you come in please familiarize yourself with my COVID protocols below.



  • I am fully vaccinated.

  • I WILL NOT PROVIDE A BATHROOM. (unless you are dying or have an appointment exceeding 60 minutes).

  • I will text you when I am ready as I need time between each client to completely sanitize. I am taking the time for shampoo and blow dry to sanitize in between so these appointments are 10 minutes shorter.

  • For cut only clients please arrive with freshly shampoo and conditioned dry or damp hair. I will not be shampooing or blow drying, but will do a leave in moisturizing treatment if your hair needs it.

  • For color and Ouidad Certified curly cuts I will be washing and drying your hair.

  • For color services I have a phone charger, beverages and snacks.

  • I expect you to wear a mask the entire time that has straps around your ears not your head.

  • I will also be in a mask, clean apron, clean cape, both doors and a HUGE window will be open with a fan on us. 

  • Please do not bring in more bags than you can carry on your lap, no drinks.

  • I require 24 hour notification of cancellation or I will charge 50% of service. This policy will be waived if you are experiencing any COVID like symptoms or have been exposed. 


I offer a great range of natural, organic, and environmentally friendly haircare and styling products including Ouidad, Hairstory, Olaplex, and Cult + King haircare.


80% of great hair is what you do at home, so I will walk you through how to care for your new look, including product suggestions and styling tips. In between appointments, I offer quick studio product pickups as well as convenient online ordering for some of my product lines.

Color and style maintenance varies,

but in general, I recommend:​

  • Short haircut: 4-6 weeks

  • Long haircut: 8-12 weeks

  • Ouidad Certified cut 12-16 weeks

  • Root retouch: 4-8 weeks

  • Toning gloss: 4-6 weeks

  • Highlights: 8-12 weeks

  • Balayage: 3-6 months
