She/Her.
Queer Mama.
Curl Specialist.

I love the creative process of hairstyling and the deep connections I build with my incredible clients. A great cut and the right products should make styling effortless—because life is busy, and every day should be a good hair day.

Community has shaped my journey in powerful ways. In 2018, my girlfriend, infant son, and I were evicted from San Francisco, prompting our move to Oakland to start fresh. Now, I fully embrace suburban mom life—raising the next generation, squeezing in Costco runs, and finding joy in the in-between moments. I’m a recovering triathlete with a passion for vintage motorcycles and smashing the patriarchy.

My cute family!
I earned my cosmetology license in San Francisco in 2002 and became the first-ever assistant at the now-iconic Edo Salon. Education is my love language, and I’ve trained with industry leaders like Bumble and Bumble, Redken, and Pony Education in both New York and San Francisco. I cut hair with scissors and a straight razor, and in 2016, while pregnant, I became one of the few Bay Area stylists certified in Ouidad curly haircuts. This technique enhances curls by strategically shaping and stacking them for maximum definition. I love cutting curls, waves and natural textures because it feels like sculpture. During the 2020 shutdown, I expanded my skills by completing the Master of Balayage program. Now, I specialize in effortless, lived-in color, bold fantasy hues, and timeless (never boring) grey coverage. Whether sculpting curls, waves, or natural textures, I approach each cut as a form of artistry.

Not just a hairdresser in 2015
The trust guests give to me to do gender affirming hair is a gift from the goddess.
I am extremely conscious that all haircuts affirm gender. I am grateful everyday for the privilege to contribute to queer culture and our community through hair.
