She/Her.

Queer Mama.

Curl Specialist.

I love the creative process of hair and connecting with my incredible clients. I truly believe a good cut and the right product should make styling effortless for our busy lifestyles. Everyday should be a good hair day.

I am a living example of the power of community that helped my little family transition.  In 2018 my girlfriend, infant son and I were evicted from San Francisco and moved to Oakland to begin the next chapter of our lives. I am now completely in love with this suburban mom life, sharpening a new generation of people like arrows in between Costco trips. I am a recovering triathlete with a fetish for vintage motorcycles and smashing the patriarchy.

My cute family!

I was licensed in San Francisco in 2002 and was the first ever assistant at the now infamous Edo Salon. Continuing education is my love language. I have attended advanced classes at Bumble and Bumble, Redken and Pony Education in New York and San Francisco. I cut hair with both scissors and straight razor.  While I was pregnant in 2016 I became one of a handful of Bay Area hairstylists to get certified in Ouidad curly haircuts. Ouidad cuts are a certified technique to puzzle and organize curls on top of each other to maximize their potential. I love cutting curls, waves and natural textures because it feels like sculpture. In 2020 while I couldn't work behind the chair I completed the Master of Balayage program and now am a MASTER of all things hair lightening including effortless lived in color, fantasy rainbow prism hair, and old fashioned but never boring grey coverage.

Not just a hairdresser in 2015

The trust guests give to me to do gender affirming hair is a gift from the goddess.

I am extremely conscious that all haircuts affirm gender. I am grateful everyday for the privilege to contribute to queer culture and our community through hair.
